About Us

Trinity Lutheran Church was first organized in 1890 and was originally located on Pine Street in Findlay.  In 1970, the congregation took a leap of faith and relocated to the outskirts of Findlay on West Bigelow west of I-75.  What was then fields is now filled with homes and business and Trinity has continued to grow in numbers and in its facilities.  Our most recent addition is our Community Life Center with its full sized gym, multiple youth rooms, commericial kitchen and more - all available for community use.

Throughout our history we have been involved in social ministries throughout the community including Habitat For Humanity, the Christian Clearing House, Lutheran Social Services and many more.  Faith at Trinity is put into action in real life and service and we continue to search out opportunities to serve those in need.

We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the fifth largest Protestant denomination in the US with nearly 5 million members and over 10,000 congregations.  Together we support many colleges and universities, the largest social ministry network in the US, and a global outreach in mission and disaster relief.  A denomination joined in common mission and service, we have the freedom to disagree and shape our ministries to fit the needs of each local community.

We continue to grow, following the commitment of our past -  being a community of Jesus committed to a real journey of faith with every generation.
