TLC Preschool and Childcare

TLC Preschool & Childcare is a ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church, serving the Findlay area and surrounding communities in a Christian environment.

  • Founded in 1997, TLC began as a small outreach program of Trinity Lutheran Church.
  • Over the years, we’ve grown to include:
    • Full-day childcare
    • Preschool programming
    • Toddler care
  • We currently serve families with children ages 18 months through 4th grade.
  • Quality rated by the State of Ohio since 2009, reflecting our commitment to excellence in early childhood education.

Mission Statement

TLC Preschool & Childcare Center serves young children and their families by providing a nurturing, safe environment where children can learn, grow, and play. We emphasize positive development through the sharing of our Christian beliefs and the Good News of the Gospel.

It is our hope that our church and childcare program together will serve as a meaningful resource for families, helping parents and children navigate the changes and challenges of daily life. In this way, we pray that Trinity Lutheran’s congregational life becomes a supportive part of each family’s journey.

Before and After School Program

The TLC Before and After School Program provides a safe, faith-based option for families needing care before and after school.

  • Christian-focused curriculum to support spiritual growth.
  • Homework support: children can complete assignments with guidance.
  • Quiet time for reading: children without homework can enjoy our age-appropriate library.
  • Transportation options:
    • Liberty Benton bus picks up in the mornings and drops off in the afternoons.
    • TLC provides transportation to and from some area schools for an additional fee.
  • Limited openings available; call for details or to join our waiting list.

Our Goals

At TLC Preschool & Childcare Center, parents and children can expect us to:

  • Provide a safe, healthy, and stimulating Christian environment where children can grow and learn.
  • Support family unity and offer meaningful opportunities for parents to be involved in their child’s education and spiritual growth.
  • Encourage children to engage in a friendly, relaxed, and stimulating environment under the guidance of experienced and dedicated staff.
  • Serve as an extension of our church’s ministry, caring for the needs of both enrolled children and their families.
  • Develop a high-quality program addressing the physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual development of each child.
  • Act as both an in-reach to congregation members and an outreach to the broader community.
